Cinema & Restaurant Development

Plans for a major project to expand Bon Accord with an exclusive new restaurant and cinema development have been unveiled.

Capreon Limited, owner of Bon Accord & St Nicholas, believes the ambitious project will complement the landmark developments taking place in the traditional core of Aberdeen.

At the centre of the project is a 28,000 sq ft cinema complex featuring seven screens and with the capacity to seat 800 people. Seven new restaurants are also integral to the proposed expansion, totalling 30,000 sq ft.

The innovative design includes the creation of a new entrance from Upperkirkgate at Drum’s Lane, leading to an external courtyard and providing access to the upper level of the mall where the new leisure area would be situated. The plans work within the existing footprint of the Bon Accord mall.
